Buddhism

Nature of self, nature of reality, compassion, how to treat others, and a godless universe

Buda delivers four noble truths:

1) Truth of suffering: life is an effect.
2) Truth of the cause of suffering: we avoid bad things in our life, and we attach to the good things in our life.
3) Truth of the end of suffering: What if we remove our thoughts of aversion to the bad, and attachment to the good?
4) Truth of path to liberation: behave decently, cultivate discipline, and practice meditation.

Actions are not asked to be changed, but rather our attitudes towards events in life. This philosophy of life is not saying to disengage of personal relationships, but rather establish, care about those around you with less clinging, while being compassionate, decent, and disciplined.
